WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an experienced, visionary design leader to serve as Director of North America Apparel and Graphic Design. This person brings a strong point of view across fashion, streetwear, sport and innovation, and pairs elevated creative standards with the ability to lead teams, align partners and drive multiple complex work streams with clarity and pace.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As Director of NA Local Creation Apparel and Graphic Design, you will define and drive the creative direction for apparel cut & sew and graphic design across multiple categories for Nike and Jordan in North America. You will translate brand and business priorities into distinctive product narratives, lead teams from concept through execution, and deliver work that is culturally relevant, commercially compelling and unmistakably Nike.

YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you will work across a broad leadership network to convert vision into product cess will require close partnership with senior design director, business and development leaders, as well as the ability to build alignment across functions, categories and geographies.

Reporting structure:
You will report to the Senior Design Director, Nike, Inc. Local Creation Design, and partner closely with senior product leadership in North America to ensure the apparel and graphic vision advances the broader creative strategy for the enterprise.

Partnerships:
You will work closely with Category Directors across other geographies within Local Creation, as well as Apparel and Graphic Directors across the Nike, Inc. portfolio, to ensure a cohesive vision across product categories and a point of view that resonates with the North America consumer.

Team Leadership:
You will lead a team spanning apparel cut-and-sew, graphic design and production art, setting a high creative bar while providing the coaching, direction and support required for the team to do its best work. Together, you will deliver North America-led design solutions that honor Nike, Inc.’s heritage and pushes the company forward. You will manage a distributed team across key North America cities, including Beaverton, New York City and Los Angeles.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related design field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant design work experience in a related field.
  • Understanding of Enterprise vision.
  • Profound knowledge of fashion and elevated craft.
  • Deep understanding of apparel and graphic make and manufacturing processes.
  • Mastery of the creative process, guiding the team through all stages of design.
  • Excellent storytelling skills.
  • Mastery of presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead product creation while leveraging 3D capabilities.
  • Proficiency in digital design software (Creative Suite).
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead creative teams under high-pressure environments.
  • Collaborative spirit with excellent soft skills and flexibility to manage multiple projects and cross‑functional teams efficiently.
