Location:
Beaverton, OR (5 days onsite) Salary Range: $50-60 per hour Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in apparel design, textile science, or a related field (preferred). Additional product creation experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 5-10 years of pattern making and/or sample sewing in the apparel industry, including the apparel development process from inception through production. Expertise in pattern making, sewing, and garment construction.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with Optitex/Gerber, CLO/Browzwear, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD Pattern Design software is highly desired. Proficiency with MS Office programs. Applicants must be LOCAL and able to work directly for Artech on W2. Experience interpreting design intent and offering alternative solutions. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Prior work experience in the industry.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities Collaborate with the studio team, design, and product development partners to execute product development and fit goals. Engineer patterns specific to designer vision, cut, sew, and assemble samples at a premium level. Participate in the apparel development process with the Product Creation teams. Support team with SOP development.
