As a Visual Design Associate Manager with Accenture Song, you will influence the visual language across client and internal engagements, shaping design direction and design systems while mentoring teammates. Based onsite in Beaverton, Oregon, this role emphasizes integrating AI-enabled workflows to deliver cohesive brand experiences across diverse brands. The position offers a salary range of USD 68,300 to 218,800 per year.
Responsibilities- Help shape the visual design direction on engagements from concept through delivery, ensuring quality, aesthetic cohesion, and timely progress.
- Translate briefs, brand strategy, and audience insights into compelling visuals, developing and defending an original visual point of view.
- Deliver high-quality visual design across brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital experiences with craft and attention to detail.
- Own your workstream with deliberate design decisions, delivering production-ready output with minimal redirection.
- Actively incorporate AI tools to accelerate concepting, iteration, and production, contributing to the team’s evolving AI-enabled workflows.
- Engage confidently with clients and stakeholders, clearly communicating design rationale and building credibility as a creative voice.
- Document how AI affects your workflow and contribute to the practice’s evolving understanding of AI-enabled visual design.
- Support proposals and case studies by contributing project work, process documentation, and design narratives that showcase visual design capabilities.
- Stay attuned to internal and client needs, flagging opportunities for deeper work or expanded scope to your lead.
- Mentor junior designers informally, sharing feedback, references, and methods to grow their craft.
- Actively participate in the Visual Design Craft community, contributing resources and discussions to advance the discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in visual design across multiple industries, brand types, platforms, and contexts.
- Experience contributing to visual design engagements end-to-end, from concept and visual strategy through to production-ready delivery.
- Proficiency in creating brand identities, design systems, typography, motion, illustration, and digital UI with a growing visual voice.
- Ability to deliver high-fidelity visuals with pixel-perfect deliverables and developer-ready specifications.
- Experience providing feedback and informal guidance to junior designers to help others develop their craft.
- Experience in agile, cross-functional environments collaborating with product designers, product managers, engineers, and strategists.
- Foundation in UX principles that informs visual design decisions and expresses a coherent brand point of view.
- Experience contributing to scalable design systems that ensure visual consistency across products and channels.
- Comfort using AI tools in design practice for concepting, mood-boarding, and rapid iteration; openness to evolving AI-enabled workflows.
- Hands-on experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and relevant motion, illustration, or AI design tools.
- Strong communication skills and client-facing presence; ability to present design rationale and participate in creative discussions with stakeholders.
