Our client, a leading athletic footwear and apparel manufacturing company, is looking for a Graphic Designer 1/Production Designer. This is for an initial duration of 05 months and is located at Beaverton, OR.

Job Type: Contract (Candidates must be able to work on W2 without VISA sponsorship)
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Minimum required years of experience: 1+ YOE with schematic or graphic production design, ex: packaging, print design, footwear, technical graphic design, book design, typography
- Education requirements:
Graphic Design Degree or similar
Portfolios:
Some design schematics, has range as a graphic designer, digital design for print design, labeling design dimensions, separating layers, packaging design. HM is looking for graphic design portfolios that are more technical and show process work for things like print, book or product design. What they are not looking for is very illustration or branding heavy portfolios. Or portfolios that focus on concept work.
Must have skills:
- This role is heavy on the technical graphic design side. They need to understand design thinking but this is not a conceptual design role
- Interested in production, technical side of design, building schematics
Nice to have skills:
- Knowledge of pre-press, screen printing, trims, printing process, typography
- Adobe illustrator, pre-press color separations, maintaining files for product design
- Strong footwear interest, but experience is not required
