Join Cella on an on-site contract opportunity in Beaverton, OR
, leading non-seasonal retail story design for an iconic global retail brand
. This role centers on creating immersive, scalable retail environments through coordinated storytelling across physical and digital touchpoints.
As an Art Director, you will drive design excellence from concept through visual communication, directing multi-disciplinary work across graphic design, fixtures, materials, and digital experiences. You will work closely with senior partners and cross-functional teams to shape retail initiatives that hold up across multiple store formats.
Responsibilities- Lead design excellence across complex retail storytelling projects to deliver immersive and scalable physical environments
. - Partner with Senior Directors and cross-functional teams to concept, refine, and evolve non-seasonal retail initiatives.
- Develop and present high-impact visual communications, including Keynote decks and environmental concepts
, across diverse store formats. - Collaborate across Environmental Graphic Design
, Fixtures
, Materials
, and Digital to maintain visual consistency.
- 8+ years of dedicated brand and graphic design experience, with deep expertise in retail environments
, concepts, and storytelling programs. - Proficiency with creative toolsets including Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Keynote
. - Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary retail initiatives and facilitating impactful stakeholder presentations.
- Portfolio demonstrating creative sophistication in spatial story design and visual communications,
required upon submission
.
Contract role based in Beaverton, OR (onsite), offering USD 64–67 per hourly
.
