Pay: $48.00 per hour Hours: Monday–Friday; 8AM–5PM Location: Beaverton, OR 97005
OverviewFull-time leave coverage supporting Women’s Golf with additional support for Tennis. The role requires a seasoned technical pattern engineer who can independently create and modify garment patterns and evaluate fit for performance women’s athletic apparel.
Job Description- Build technical garment patterns from designer sketches and specifications.
- Create detailed technical drawings, measurements, and construction documentation used in production.
- Develop patterns from scratch and modify existing patterns for fit, function, and manufacturability.
- Conduct fit assessments and make pattern adjustments based on wear testing and feedback.
- Partner with designers, product developers, and manufacturing teams throughout the development cycle.
- Maintain clear documentation of pattern changes using digital record-keeping tools.
- Support athlete-facing fittings when required and represent the brand professionally.
- Focus on garment construction rather than graphic, color, or creative design work.
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Designer or Pattern Engineer in apparel.
- Strong expertise in pattern making and pattern adjustment for women’s athletic wear.
- Ability to build patterns from scratch based on sketches and technical direction.
- Deep knowledge of garment construction for knits (wovens acceptable; knits preferred).
- Experience assessing garment fit and translating fit feedback into pattern revisions.
- Comfort working in athlete-facing fittings and representing the brand.
- Experience using digital record-keeping tools such as PDM, PCX, PLM, or web-based systems for change tracking and comments.
- Performance wear experience.
- Outerwear, dresses, and/or skirts experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; formal training in pattern making, apparel construction, or technical design preferred.
