Product Design and Development - Materials Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Materials Designer to join our team. This role is crucial for covering a sabbatical and supporting our growing business. You will work with the NSW Icons team on men's and women's sportswear, focusing on established franchises and footwear. The position is based in Beaverton, OR, with a competitive salary range of $45-50 per hour.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Materials Design.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• High taste level with a deep understanding of consumer trends and tactile materials.
• Experience working on larger projects with consumer goods.
• Strong storytelling ability in portfolio, showcasing the design process and decision-making.
• Prior work experience in the client's industry.
• Applicants must be LOCAL/ WILLING TO RELOCATE and able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Experience in industrial material design, textile material design, or apparel material design.
• Strong interest in streetwear and trends.

• Collaborate with the team to design and develop materials for sportswear and footwear.
