This role is essential for upcoming projects, and we are looking for a skilled Pattern Maker - Sample Engineer to support our ambitious goals.
Location:Beaverton, OR (5 days onsite) Salary Range: $50-60 per hour Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in apparel design, textile science, or a related field (preferred). Additional product creation experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5-10 years of pattern making and/or sample sewing in the apparel industry, including the apparel development process from inception through production.
- Expertise in pattern making, sewing, and garment construction.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with Optitex/Gerber, CLO/Browzwear, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD Pattern Design software is highly desired.
- Proficiency with MS Office programs.
- Applicants must be LOCAL and able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Experience interpreting design intent and offering alternative solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Prior work experience in the industry.
- Collaborate with the studio team, design, and product development partners to execute product development and fit goals.
- Engineer patterns specific to designer vision, cut, sew, and assemble samples at a premium level.
- Participate in the apparel development process with the Product Creation teams.
- Support team with SOP development.
- Engage in a culture that embraces diversity and rewards imagination.
- Work in a fluid creative environment with opportunities for travel on fast-paced projects.
