Position: Business Operations and Corporate Services - Store Designer 3
Introduction

This position involves developing and realizing innovative, original retail environments, displays, and digital solutions for retail stores. Collaborate with internal and external design teams to complete multiple projects, ensuring the creative intent, design results, timelines, and budgets are met. Partner with Architecture, Storytelling design, and Geo retail design partners to bring retail design excellence.

Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive, technically sophisticated design experience in architectural, experiential, or brand design.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in architecture, industrial, or environmental design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Keynote. A portfolio must be available for the team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a design project or studio delivering progressively complex projects of scale, budget, and size.
  • Prior work experience in the retail industry is a must.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
  • Experience with After Effects, Premiere, Miro, Figma, Sketch Up, and Unreal Engine.
  • Experience in applying and performing design skills, including concepting, drawing/sketching, architecture, ideation, color theory, materials, texture, and spatial design in scale, visual presentation development, and space planning layouts.
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to current trends in color, design, art, photography, and experience design and their application to the athletic industry.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Support and partner with Global Retail Sr Creative Director to lead retail experience creative direction, design direction, and design continuity.
  • Lead a design process of clear ideation, focusing on strategy and exploration of architecture, environments, materiality, and use of the environment.
  • Collaborate with peers, design counterparts, internal partners, and external partners to ensure feasibility of designs and functional needs are met.
  • Drive education and inspiration, sharing knowledge, and exposure to current and future trends influencing the innovation of consumer experiences and technology.
  • Foster innovative thinking, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands, and changes.
