Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum required years of experience: 3 YOE in Apparel Product Design with Tech Packs
  • Education requirements:

    Bachelors or equivalent experience

Must have skills:

  • Can create a tech pack for apparel, updating techpacks and making changes to products
  • Portfolios: sketches, flat drawings, PRs or tech packs

Nice to have skills:

  • 3D experience, Vizcom or similar tools
  • Streetwear and lifestyle apparel for mens or womens

    Software/technical requirements:
  • Adobe illustrator

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Apparel Designer for Streetwear, with a refined and elevated design perspective rooted in streetwear culture and experience. The Designer will actively collaborate in the creative process with excellent cross-functional communication skills, while maintaining a curious and open-minded approach.

As a Apparel Designer you will:

  • Create designs for a variety of apparel classifications for Streetwear Apparel, ranging from seasonal capsule collection to high volume franchise apparel with the guidance from design leaders.
  • Craft the future, distinct look of Streetwear Apparel, while working under the direction of our Streetwear Product Creative Director.
  • Present design concepts to various internal audiences with the support from design leaders.
  • Partner and clearly communicate with all cross-functional members within Design, Technical Development and Product Management to ensure feasibility of designs against product creation timelines.
  • Provide design support for broader Apparel Design team as needed, outside of assigned projects.
  • WHO YOU LL WORK WITH

    This position will work closely with the streetwear design team and streetwear triad partners.

    This role requires experience developing and creatively collaborating across multiple disciplines, including graphics, color, product management, material/trim development, technical development, and sourcing teams to advance the Brand aesthetic and vision. This role will focus on translating consumer insights into trend right streetwear product. This role will not have any direct reports.

    WHAT YOU BRING
    • Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related design field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
    • 3 years of relevant work experience in a design environment working with materials, trims, design, and fit.
    • Ability to perform foundational design skills, encompassing 2D CADS croquis sketching, developing head-to-toe concepts, conducting prototype fittings, and creating detailed tech packs. 3D experience is a plus.
    • In-depth knowledge of how materials, silhouettes, proportions, trims, and color theory work together to create a cohesive head-to-toe look.
    • Strong visual and verbal presentation skills and storytelling to articulate design concepts and narratives.
    • Understands how to balance meeting business objectives while continuously pushing the boundaries of design.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines at once.
    • Experience using Illustrator & Photoshop, Miro, CLO, Keynote, Vizcom.
