Senior Store Designer - Global Retail Design

Location:

Beaverton, Oregon Job Type: Contract Compensation Range: $51 - 54 per hour Cella is seeking a Senior Store Designer for a high-profile contract role supporting a global leader in retail and athletic apparel for an assignment contracted through May 30, 2027. In this position, you will collaborate with a world-class creative team to develop original 3D retail environments, fixture designs, and immersive consumer experiences that align with core brand direction and business objectives.

This role is an excellent opportunity to bring technical expertise and creative vision to large-scale, impactful retail design projects. Candidates must be commutable to Beaverton, Oregon. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Design Director and multidisciplinary teams to design innovative 3D retail environments, layout concepts, and visual fixtures.

Develop original design solutions and execute existing design directions to elevate the overall consumer retail experience.

Create comprehensive presentation materials to clearly articulate design intent, vision, and strategic goals to team members and leadership.

Execute space planning, environmental layout, material selection, and scale specifications for complex retail spaces.

Manage dynamic work priorities, project timelines, and electronic design files across collaborative teams.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Architectural Design, Interior Design, Environmental Design, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architectural, interior, or environmental design.

Portfolio:
An up-to-date portfolio demonstrating strong 3D retail design, space planning, environmental layout, and visual presentation capability is required for consideration.

Technical

Skills:

Advanced proficiency in CAD and design software, specifically Sketch Up, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of current design trends and specific dynamics within the retail industry; experience in athletic apparel or footwear retail store design is highly preferred.

Communication:
Proven ability to present design concepts confidently to cross-functional partners and management levels. Opportunity
