Locum Jobs Online is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Oregon!
We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for an exciting locum tenens opportunity at a respected acute care hospital in Springfield, Oregon. This is an inpatient-focused assignment with a supportive clinical environment and an opportunity to provide high-quality GI care while enjoying the Pacific Northwest.
Assignment Details- Location: Springfield, OR
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Assignment Length: 26 weeks
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts with rotating night call
- Coverage: Scheduled clinical shifts plus on-call responsibilities
- Setting: Inpatient only
- Patients: Adult population
- Average Daily Census: Approximately 10 patients
- Inpatient GI rounding
- New patient consultations
- Endoscopic procedures
- ERCP procedures (required)
- Collaborate with hospital specialists and outpatient GI colleagues as needed
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active Oregon medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Current ACLS certification
- ERCP experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Acute Care Hospital
- Inpatient GI service
- Adult patient population
- Provider will serve as the primary inpatient GI physician with specialty consultant support available
