Compensation: Administrator Salary Schedule $119,587 - $126,926 DOE
Work Days: 210 days per year

General Description

This position assists the school principal in directing and managing the instructional program as well as assisting in the supervision of operations and personnel at the campus and program level. It supports leadership, supervision, and evaluation of instruction, fosters a positive, inclusive learning climate, and contributes to integrated educational and student development programs.

Qualifications
  • Valid Oregon TSPC Administrative License or ability to obtain it within the specified timeline.
  • Master's Degree in Education Leadership, Special Education, or School Administration.
  • Minimum three years of experience leading evidence‑based Tier 3 social‑emotional or behavioral support practices (preferred).
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and culturally responsive practices.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with school attendance interventions, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Behavior Support Plans.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience leading Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), instructional leadership, coaching and modeling effective instructional strategies.

Essential Functions
  • Support the Principal in implementing and monitoring instructional programs, including culturally sustaining instruction and SEL‑aligned practices.
  • Assist with coordination of MTSS initiatives, behavior support planning, attendance interventions, and re‑engagement strategies.
  • Support supervision, evaluation, and professional growth of assigned staff.
  • Assist in facilitating professional learning communities and staff development activities.
  • Collaborate with LEAs, community agencies, and internal departments to support coordinated student services and smooth transitions.
  • Assist with data collection, monitoring, and reporting related to instructional effectiveness, student outcomes, and program improvement.
  • Manage various school administrative functions for enforcing school, District, and state policy and maintaining safety and efficiency of school operations.
  • Evaluate assigned personnel to ensure standards are met and performance is maximized.
  • Facilitate development, communication, implementation, and evaluation of staff and student programs.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and directives for mandated requirements.
  • Intervene in inappropriate student behavior and assist students in behavioral modification.
  • Monitor communication among stakeholders to ensure professionalism.
  • Prepare a wide variety of information (reports, activities, correspondence, audits) for documentation and reference.
  • Present information (budget overviews, accounting processes) for communication and feedback.
  • Chair various meetings (curriculum, safety, site advisory, faculty) to coordinate activities and achieve goals.
  • Represent the school in various settings (community, parent‑teacher organizations) to maintain support for educational goals.
  • Research policies, best practices, trends, legislation to ensure compliance and gather information for planning.
