Position: Afternoon Teacher and Teacher Aide

Overview

Kids Incorporated Learning Center is seeking a qualified Afternoon Floater Teacher (and Teacher Aide) to join our team. We are looking for someone dependable, nurturing, and flexible who enjoys working with children of various age groups.

Location & Schedule

Kids Incorporated Learning Center – Beaverton, OR

18425 NW Walker Rd., Beaverton, OR 97006

Schedule:

12:00–6:00 PM or 12:30–6:30 PM (some flexibility). Potential to convert to full-time after training

Responsibilities

Provide care and supervision for children; work as an Afternoon Floater Teacher and Teacher Aide as needed; contribute to a nurturing and flexible learning environment for children of various ages.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness to transport school-age students to/from school
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving company vans (substitute driver)

Minimum Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center OR qualifying education/training. If unsure whether you qualify, please reach out — we’re happy to help determine eligibility.

Required Certifications

  • All positions require enrollment in the Oregon Central Background Registry (C ) with a registry number prior to completing the interview process. https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). .aspx

Teachers must have (or be willing to obtain):

  • Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect
  • Introduction to Child Care Health & Safety
  • Safe Sleep for Oregon’s Infants
  • Prevention is Better than Treatment
  • Foundations for Learning
  • Valid Oregon Food Handler’s Card
  • Pediatric & Adult CPR/First Aid Certification

Compensation

Pay is based on experience and qualifications. We offer pay differentials for:
Classroom placement, Opening or closing shifts, Van driving, Fluent bilingual ability.
