Middle School Cross Country Coach
Are you interested in coaching youth? The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District is now accepting applications for Middle School Cross Country Coaches.
The 2026 season runs from September 8 through October 27th, 2026. Practices will take place at Beaverton School District middle school campuses on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Meets will be held at BSD campuses and the THPRD HMT Complex.
Scheduling
- Staff are typically scheduled 3 to 9 hours per week.
- Most practices are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30–5:45 p.m. The International School of Beaverton practices from 3:25–4:40 p.m.
- Coaches will also be scheduled for meet days. Meets are held on select dates and may run as late as 7:30 p.m. The final district meet is scheduled for the morning of Saturday, October 24th.
- Additional hours may be available through other coaching opportunities within the district.
Positions
Instructor I:
No teaching experience required, must love working with people of all ages and abilities; be able to work inside and outside; and be at least 16 years of age.
Pay Rate: $19.78 - $22.30 Hourly
Instructor II:
Must have at least 1 year of experience in leading and instructing general classes and be at least 16 years of age.
Pay Rate: $21.81 - $24.59 Hourly
Instructor III:
Must have over 1 year of experience and specialized training in the assigned program area; and be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
Pay Rate: $26.51 Hourly
