Civil Engineer

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil/Structural Engineer based in Beaverton, OR (also accepting applications for our Missoula, MT location). SMG's engineers work on industrial facilities, manufacturing processes, waterfront infrastructure, construction temporary structure, and other unique structural and civil projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed engineering designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, analyzing project feasibility, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• 4 to 10 years experience in Civil or Structural Engineering Design.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil /Structural Engineering or a related field; professional engineering (PE and SE) licensure is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in planning and implementation of complex projects with attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
• Excellent communication and project management skills to effectively convey technical concepts and lead project execution.
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
