Job Title:
Project Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to lead the production of construction documents and engineering studies for advanced technology and industrial clients in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. This role involves scoping new engineering projects, writing fee proposals, and providing regular project updates and coordination with our internal management team.
Responsibilities- Scope projects, write fee proposals, and manage a multi‑discipline project team through each phase of project design and construction.
- Coordinate quality control reviews of multi‑discipline design documents performed by colleagues, as well as conducting periodic reviews directly.
- Manage an engineering team to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets, assembling project task lists and schedules, and leading regular discussions to ensure project progress.
- Lead project contractual and design discussions with clients regarding engineering issues, information needs, budget, schedule, and staffing.
- Attend client meetings as a representative for the firm to discuss general subjects that arise during project support.
- Proficiency in engineering, project management, and design.
- Experience with project coordination, proposals, and construction.
- Mechanical engineering expertise.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Solid technical writing and process documentation skills.
- Relationship‑building skills with a focus on customer feedback and follow‑through.
Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of general engineering fundamentals and construction.
- Project management experience, preferably from an A/E firm.
- Ability to lead a team and manage engineering disciplines, including architectural, structural, mechanical, process, electrical, and instrumentation & controls.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- BSEE or equivalent degree from an accredited university, preferably in architecture or engineering.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and thorough with experience in quality control review of documents.
The work environment is business casual, collaborative, and deadline‑intensive. You will work in a cubed production office setting and directly with clients on‑site. Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
