Structural Engineer
As a Structural Engineer, you will perform structural analysis and design for building systems using materials such as steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and light‑gauge framing. You will prepare construction documents, calculations, and technical details while ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and engineering standards. You will also develop efficient and constructible solutions that balance performance, cost, and schedule.
Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis and design for building systems.
- Prepare construction documents, calculations, and technical details.
- Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs.
- Apply applicable building codes and engineering standards.
- Develop efficient, constructible solutions.
- Manage structural engineering projects from proposal through construction administration.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, architects, and consultants.
- Coordinate internal engineering resources and manage project schedules and budgets.
- Participate in and lead design coordination meetings.
- Support and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
- 4–8 years of professional structural engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects or managing engineering tasks.
- Strong understanding of U.S. building codes and structural systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MS or MEng) in Structural Engineering.
- Experience with Revit or BIM-based structural workflows.
- Prior experience working directly with architects and owners.
- Interest in complex or unique structural design challenges.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41.00 – $58.00/hr.
