Beaverton, OR (Need Local Candidates) Salary Range: $35-40 Introduction
We are seeking a skilled Product Test Engineer 2 to join our team. This is an on-site role at WHQ, requiring five days on-site with typical work hours. The contract is expected to last approximately one year from the start.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in materials science, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- We’re looking for a Test Engineer II in the Client's Footwear Lab with strong problem solving, results orientation, and multi-tasking skills.
- 2-4 years of experience in lab work, materials testing, product testing, etc.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience with product/materials testing.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Applicants must be LOCAL and able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Basic knowledge of biomechanics and/or CAD.
- Prior footwear testing experience.
- Statistical analysis of data.
- Experience with Instron testing machines.
- Support product testing for global football (soccer) footwear.
- You will complete standard materials and mechanical tests, review and analyze data, and write reports and communicate the results to the teams.
- You will also assist more senior engineers on testing related projects, consult and train others in your area of expertise, and help identify changes in protocols or equipment within the lab to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Work on product testing on Instron machines, generate reports, and provide test results to product creation/development teams.
- Collaborate with approximately nine other testers and a lead engineer, with cross-functional work with product creation and development teams.
