Role: Product Test Engineer
OverviewWe are seeking a Product Test Engineer to provide project support for global football footwear testing. This role involves hands-on product testing, generating reports, and communicating test results to product creation and development teams. The position is an onsite role for a contract expected to last approximately one year.
Responsibilities- Conduct product and materials testing on Instron machines.
- Generate comprehensive test reports based on collected data.
- Provide test results and technical information to cross-functional product creation and development teams.
- Collaborate with a team of testers and a lead engineer on various projects.
- Translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of two to four years of experience in a laboratory environment, focusing on materials testing or product testing is required.
Skills:
- Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
- Hands-on experience with product and materials testing procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in an environment with some ambiguity.
- Basic knowledge of biomechanics or CAD.
- Prior experience in footwear testing.
- Experience with statistical analysis of data.
- Familiarity with Instron testing machines.
The pay rate for this position is between $ and $ per hour. Benefits are available to eligible employees.
