Commercial Manager for North America

Elkem Carbon Solutions is seeking a Commercial Manager for North America. The role incorporates the responsibilities of a diverse and multidisciplinary nature. If you feel empowered to take initiative, collaborate, and drive results, you must be the professional we are searching for.

• Collaborate with our global sales teams, R&I and production units to achieve strategic sales, revenue, and market share goals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Partner with customers to deliver technical solutions, process improvement, and identify new opportunities to promote both existing and new products.
• Coordinate sales in North America between the various Elkem Carbon Solutions plants.
• Lead technical engagements, including customer visits, trials, defect analysis, and training seminars to optimize the use of Elkem's products.
• Support the raw materials sourcing in North America and shipments to the plants.
• Drive documentation and reporting, including technical letters, defect analysis, and support logistical matters.

• University degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field (bachelor's or higher).
• 10 years from the pyro-metallurgical industry, preferably a combination of operations and Marketing & Sales.
• Collaborative and problem-solving mindset to work effectively across global teams and deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Language:
  Excellent English communication skills.
• Travel:
  Willingness to travel to customer sites, Elkem production units, raw materials suppliers and internal global events.

Location:

Preferably Elkem Office in Pittsburgh but other locations in the USA can be discussed.

The position reports to the division's Business Director.
