Product Design and Development - Materials Development

Join our dynamic team as a Materials Developer where you will play a crucial role in driving the materials development process. This position will focus on ensuring product excellence and timely delivery for both consumers and athletes.

• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemistry, Product Development, Product Engineering, or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training
• Minimum 6 years’ directly applicable work experience
• Solid understanding of various material manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of the footwear product creation process
• Prior work experience in the client's industry
• Applicants must be LOCAL and able to work directly for Artech on W2
• Experience in materials/product creation process specifically within footwear
• Previous experience working with a material manufacturer
• Lab testing and ability to interpret results

• Manage the materials creation process for assigned materials ensuring on-time delivery and development according to critical dates and specifications
• Engage in all phases of the product process to ensure projects are managed according to critical dates and completed on time, while meeting design intent, performance goals, costing/profitability, and sustainability targets
• Ensure that projects are ready for the commercialization process and can ultimately be manufactured
