  • Advanced proficiency in parametric CAD tools (NX and Rhino preferred); computational design experience (Grasshopper) is a plus
  • Experience designing plastic or foam components and tooling, supported by a strong portfolio of engineering work
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will design and develop the next generation of cushioning systems, translating ideas into performance‑driven, manufacturable solutions. You’ll use advanced modeling and engineering tools to create, refine, and scale systems that push innovation forward.

  • Partner with designers, developers, and engineers to build new cushioning systems and integration methods
  • Create and refine complex 3D models using parametric CAD tools to achieve performance and manufacturability goals
  • Prototype, test, and iterate on cushioning concepts through hands‑on development
  • Collaborate with Air Manufacturing Innovation partners to apply component‑level expertise
  • Translate innovations into scalable solutions for inline product teams
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to cross‑functional and non‑technical audiences
