Role Summary
Support and optimize semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment. Troubleshoot technical issues, minimize downtime, and improve tool performance through maintenance, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues to maximize uptime and reliability
* Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
* Develop and improve preventative maintenance procedures and schedules
* Partner with technicians, production, and engineering teams to optimize operations
* Track equipment performance, analyze faults (SPC/Pareto), and drive continuous improvement
* Support tool installs, upgrades, and qualifications
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
* Work safely with chemicals, gases, and cleanroom protocols
Additional Responsibilities
* Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives
* Communicate with operators and technicians to identify performance gaps
* Support process experiments and new test methods
* Promote a strong safety-first culture
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
* Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, or systems)
* Ability to read schematics and apply statistical process control (SPC)
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with required PPE and physical demands (standing, lifting, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in semiconductor or cleanroom manufacturing
* Knowledge of robotics, vacuum, pneumatic, or PLC systems
* Programming experience (e.g., Python, Visual Basic)
* Strong mechanical aptitude and data analysis skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Improved equipment uptime and performance
* Reduced downtime through proactive maintenance and root cause fixes
* Strong collaboration across manufacturing teams

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $64,000 to $88,000.
* Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
* This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
