This position is critical for identifying and resolving discrepancies in customer payments, specifically focusing on trade deductions and post-audits. You will work in a fast-paced environment where you can drive process improvements and collaborate with brokers and sales teams to protect the company’s bottom line. Job Duties
- Execute billing, collection, and reporting activities within strict deadlines to ensure consistent cash flow.
- Monitor assigned customer accounts for irregularities, delayed payments, or non-payment issues.
- Analyze and process customer deductions and post-audits, using Excel to validate and substantiate all findings.
- Engage directly with customers, brokers, and internal sales staff to resolve complex payment disputes and unauthorized deductions.
- Research trends to identify the root causes of invalid deductions and implement strategies for repayment collection.
- Streamline existing workflows to reduce administrative costs and lower the overall volume of deductions.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all resolution efforts and provide regular reporting to management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Credit or Trade Deductions, with a strong preference for candidates from the consumer goods industry.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, particularly in using pivot tables to manage and analyze large datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, often conflicting priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and organizational growth.
Salary: $52,000 - $55,120
