MMC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to join our team for the evening shift. As a Caregiver, you’ll play an important role in supporting our residents’ daily lives. You’ll assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), promote their well‐being and independence, and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual Service Plan and needs.
Assist residents maintain a comforting routine that supports their well‑being.
Observe and document any changes in a resident’s condition, including behavior, mood and physical health.
Ability to respond to emergent situations following facility procedures in a calm and proactive manner.
Ability to communicate timely, effectively and empathetically with patients, their family members, and staff at every level of the organization.

Qualifications

Reliable and responsible.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Pass background check.

Physical Requirements

Capacity to assist with physical tasks like lifting and transferring patients.
Able to stand for prolonged periods, walk long distances, bend, lift, grasp, fine hand coordination, and/or squat repeated many times in a signal shift.
Able to push and pull items of various weights.
Able to regularly lift 45 lbs. without a mechanical lift.
