Manager Notes: This position is onsite WHQ for the hybrid schedule. We are not looking for UX Designer, it's UX Researcher. Looking for a UX researcher that is a self-starter and will be working with consumers on testing UX products/Apps. Will work closely with UX designers on research findings that will help improve consumer products. Familiarity with tools like Figma, Dscout, , and survey platforms - this is important for this role.
Must be able to be subjective and unbiased in their researching to not persude consumers for testing. This is an urgent need, will start qualifying and interviewing with manager this week. Will set up second and third round interviews the following week. Total 3 interviews and hopefully have a decision by 07/28.
- Design and execute UX research studies to inform development of mobile and watch apps
- Draw from a variety of human-centered design research methods (interviews, observations, diary studies, prototypes, surveys, user tests, etc.) at different stages of the process
- Partner with design to ideate, prototype, and iterate on new mobile and watch app features
- Lead internal and external field research efforts
- Leverage prior UX research programs to inform development and avoid past pitfalls
- Help define timelines, facilitate progress, and ensure projects successfully reach their goals
- Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations that shape the strategy and roadmap
- Be a through-line of consumer knowledge, trends, and past research, and a primary source for what's new, what's old, and what's exciting
You'll collaborate with our Advanced Product Ventures team, product managers, designers, engineers, and external partners. You'll also engage directly with athletes to understand their needs, behaviors, and aspirations-translating those into meaningful digital experiences.
What You Bring- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design Research, or related field
- 5+ years of experience conducting UX research in product development environments applying human-centered design approaches and tools to solve complex problems
- A strong ability to scope a research process, gather insights from secondary research, lead fieldwork, and conduct in-context interviews and observation
- Experience working on mobile apps, connected devices, or wearable technology
- Strong storytelling and communication skills - able to influence design and product decisions with evidence
- Familiarity with tools like Figma, Dscout, , and survey platforms
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles
- Tolerance for ambiguity and superpower for translating it into organized and clear steps
- Comfortable discussing and facilitating discussions with senior leadership
