Overview
As a Senior Assortment Planner 2 Soccer, you will play a critical role in building and executing end-to-end assortment plans for the North America marketplace. This position focuses on bottom-up forecasting, in-season optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver profitable, consumer-centric product assortments. This role will support soccer forecasting for the USA and Canada total marketplace, with a primary focus on footwear and a smaller portion of branded apparel.
You will partner closely with merchandising, sales, finance, and planning teams to ensure strong business outcomes throughout the product lifecycle.

How You Will Contribute
- Develop and own end-to-end bottom-up assortment plans aligned with financial, inventory, and consumer goals.
- Build pre-season style/color plans and manage in-season optimization through rolling forecasts.
- Present financial plans, forecasts, risks, and opportunities to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
- Forecast sales, margin, and inventory at the style-color level using data-driven insights and retail math.
- Analyze business performance versus forecast and provide actionable recommendations on a monthly and seasonal basis.
- Partner across regional and global teams to optimize business health across the full product lifecycle.
- Support manufacturing and inventory decisions through open-to-buy forecasting and in-season adjustments.
- Actively manage aging inventory and close-out strategies in collaboration with account teams.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, using data storytelling to influence decisions and align stakeholders.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in demand planning, assortment planning, or forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with forecasting and planning in a retail or consumer products environment.
- Strong Excel proficiency and comfort working with large data sets.
- Solid understanding of retail math
, inventory management, and financial planning. - Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelors degree preferred (not a hard requirement).
- Experience with planning or forecasting tools beyond Excel.
- Background working with large or global consumer brands
. - Prior experience forecasting footwear or apparel categories.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
