Promo Footwear Developer

Mon Thurs onsite, Fri remote

Job Description:

On-site role at PHK; typical work hours, 4/1 hybrid model (some Fridays may be required on site depending on business needs)

Contract will run ~7 months from start date

Degree required for this role

2-4 years experience minimum required in a product development role (or similar)

Positive attitude

Skills that would make a candidate stand out:

Direct athlete service or retail experience

Experience with PCX

Understanding of footwear

Product creation experience

The main focus of the role will be to provide coverage for sports teams/brand moments for footwear (promotional footwear, athlete service, etc.)

ETW will work with 5 others on direct development team, but will work cross functionally with ~15 others on design teams, product management, sports marketing, etc.

Everything to do with this team is high visibility; discretion is helpful, as is a passion for sport brand

HM anticipates 1-2 rounds of interviews

The Promo Footwear Developer is responsible for leading the end-to-end creation of elite athlete custom footwear, partnering across the matrix to deliver product that meets exact performance, fit, and timing requirements.

The role operates at the intersection of:

Athlete service

Product creation

Technical development

Cross-functional execution

Deliver high-performance, athlete-specific product that exceeds expectations and reflects Brand excellence.

Leading product from concept through athlete delivery

Translate design intent production-ready execution

Manage custom development workflows tied to athlete timelines (Sample Requests, etc.)

Act as primary interface with overseas factories and partners

Clear communication

Accurate technical alignment

Responsive issue resolution

Drive adherence to development standards and best practice
