This next project is scheduled for a year at this point. If they are good then they could be put on another project after so the contract is long term.

Location:

This resource does need to be onsite at Biamp in Beaverton since they need to write test scripts for the hardware products that need to remain onsite.

• Testing in Python
• Writing Automated and Manual Test Scripts
• Must have experience with Hardware device testing

- 2 years of work experience as Test, Validation or SQA Engineer

- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to understand product expectations

- Executes test automation and manual tests

- Test interaction scenarios with finished hardware devices

- Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

- Maintain internal QA-specific information systems to track quality assurance metrics (bug tracking, test servers)

- Verify defect fixes, including testing of appropriate related areas

- Reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verify fixes

- Creates and maintains documentation for SQA automation tools and frameworks to make them digestible for technical and non-technical individuals.

- Test application (GUI) software in conjunction with networked audio/media systems running embedded software

Screening Questions for TR to ask candidates:

• Have you developed manual test plans?
• What format did you use for your test plans?
• Describe how you learned about a new product in order to test it correctly. What was the product, explain it, and then how did you test it.
