Retail Field & or Network Technicians

Job Description

Flexible Retail Field or Network technicians are encouraged to apply for upcoming projects in 2026. Responsibilities include implementing, maintaining, upgrading, and repairing networked devices such as access points, smart lock access, routers, switches, POS systems, printers, and modems. Set up and troubleshoot connections in diverse environments using physical cables or wireless frequencies, ensuring adequate signal strength throughout a client’s location.

• Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle.
• Previous IT, POS, FIELD or Related technical technician experience is required.
• Technically inclined – experience with Cabling runs/ management/ testing/ terminating, Network provisioning.
• Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.
• Frequent use of hand tools.
• Travel is required in various markets.
• Lifting 60lbs or more.
• Able to climb up and down ladders.
• Testing networks Wi‑Fi signals, heat mapping.
• Installing, troubleshooting access points, routers, switches.

• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
• Superior knowledge of various networking technologies.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Over the age of 18.
• Certifications are a plus but not required.
• All training is provided.

• Travel is required.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds on occasion.
• Reaching above head for items.
• Ability to use a computer and telephone system.
• Regularly stand, walk, bend over, reach overhead.
• POS experience is a plus.

• Various environments with average noise to high and lighting levels.
• Facility ceiling space / crawl spaces.
