Technical Project Coordinator (Managed Services)

About the Role

Our growing Managed Services team is seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to join our Beaverton office. This is not a traditional project coordination role. We're looking for someone with a strong technical background who has hands‑on experience implementing, deploying, or supporting IT infrastructure within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

The ideal candidate understands the technical side of managed IT services and can effectively coordinate complex customer implementations while serving as a bridge between customers, engineers, technical account managers, and sales teams. If you've worked as a Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Network Engineer, or in another technical infrastructure role before moving into project coordination or project management, we'd love to hear from you.

• Manage multiple customer implementation, infrastructure, and server deployment projects simultaneously from kickoff through completion.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Technical Account Managers, Project Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Sales Engineers to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate server deployments, cloud migrations, network implementations, and managed IT projects while understanding technical requirements and project dependencies.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings, document action items, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Proactively identify project risks, resolve roadblocks, and manage customer expectations.
• Prepare and maintain Statements of Work, implementation documentation, project plans, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
• Support change management initiatives and continuously improve project workflows and implementation processes.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and project handoffs between engineering and support teams.
• Utilize project management tools to track resources, milestones, and project progress.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, documentation requirements, and customer expectations.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is required.
• Strong hands‑on technical background supporting, implementing, or deploying IT infrastructure.
• Previous experience in a technical role such as Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar is highly preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience coordinating or managing technical infrastructure or managed services projects.
• Strong understanding of server deployments, Microsoft environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization, networking, storage, backup solutions, and managed IT services.
• Ability to confidently communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while understanding technical implementation challenges.
• Experience managing project timelines, Statements of Work, project documentation, risks, budgets, and customer communications.
• Exceptional organizational, problem‑solving, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.

This is a highly technical project coordination role. Successful candidates will have experience managing projects and a strong technical background within an MSP or IT infrastructure environment.
