Technical Project Manager

Join our dynamic team as a Technical Project Manager, specializing in software and firmware development. You will play a crucial role in the Ampliphy project, which focuses on developing exoskeletons for footwear. This is a special project with a 12-month contract, located in Beaverton, OR, and requires in-person collaboration.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Key skills:
  Consumer product development, JIRA, firmware / embedded system, SDLC, hardware-integrated / mechatronics product experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as an IT project manager with expertise in software and firmware development.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master.
• Demonstrated ability to create processes, adapt, and improve them as needed.
• Strong bias for action and ability to ask insightful questions to drive progress.
• Must be local and able to work on Artech's W2.
• Prior work experience in the client's industry or with the client is required.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, UX, and app designers.
• Experience managing projects related to mobile apps, cloud, and/or firmware development.
• Familiarity with Jira.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• You'll work at the center of cross-functional software, firmware, QA, product, and design teams building complex, highly integrated mechatronic products.
• This role partners closely with engineering leadership to bring structure, focus, and momentum to day-to-day execution.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team coordination.
• Implement and lead SDLC practices for new product development.
