Senior Linux Platform Engineer – Storage & Infrastructure

Our client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior Linux Platform Engineer – Storage & Infrastructure for their Beaverton, OR/Remote location. Responsibilities:

Advanced Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve escalated Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, OEL, AL, Debian) issues
System Administration:
Perform routine system maintenance, including package installations, kernel upgrades, and system patching.
Access & Resource Management:
Manage user accounts, access controls, and privileges via LDAP/SSDD integration and sudo policies.
Backup & Recovery:
Execute and verify backup/restore operations for critical OS configurations.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
Conduct RCAs for critical production outages, system crashes, and core file debugging.
Infrastructure Architecture:
Plan and implement high-availability (HA) setups, disaster recovery (DR) solutions, and failover/clustering configurations.
Automation & Configuration:
Deploy and maintain configuration management frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) at the enterprise level.
