Job Description:

  - This is a small team of 5, they need someone that is able to come on site for this role.

Top must-have skills include the following:

• Exceptional communication skills—able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience leading wireless infrastructure projects from concept through deployment and optimization.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum required years of experience: 8 years of progressive wireless network engineering experience in large-scale, global enterprise environments.

Education requirements:

• Current CWNA Certification (CWSP, CWDP, or CCNP Wireless preferred).

Software/technical requirements:

• Expert knowledge of Cisco wireless technologies (AireOS/IOS-XE, Catalyst Center, Prime Infrastructure) and advanced hands-on experience with Cisco ISE for enterprise Radius, AAA and policy management.
• Demonstrated expertise with client experience monitoring tools such as Net Ally, or similar platforms, including deployment, configuration, and analytics for wireless client health and performance.
• Advanced proficiency with Ekahau software for predictive and active WiFi design, including ECSE certification.
• Experience with ticketing systems (Service Now, Jira) and managing RMA/TAC cases with Cisco.
• Previous Client/industry experience preference:
  Would be nice to have but not required. Strong experience with Cisco will be a must

What you Bring?

• Ability to conduct site surveys and walking surveys as needed (up to 5 hours/day).
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.

About the role:

• As a Wireless Network Engineer 5 on Client's global wireless team, you will architect, lead, and optimize wireless infrastructure initiatives across Client's worldwide footprint. This highly specialized position requires deep technical expertise, leadership in wireless strategy, and hands-on experience with advanced wireless security and client experience monitoring tools. You will be responsible for the most complex and business-critical wireless projects, serving as the top escalation point and a trusted advisor to both technical and business stakeholders.
