AI Business & Operations, Change Management
Our client, a major global consumer brand, is looking for a senior program manager to cover a three-month leave within their Global Sales organization. This person will run the day-to-day operations of an internal AI lab that supports the sales organization, keeping an already-established AI strategy moving and cross-functional partners aligned while the program continues to mature. This is not a build-from-scratch assignment and it is not a task-execution assignment.
The strategy exists. What is needed is someone who can hold the center of a fast-moving, highly visible program, drive the agenda, and keep senior stakeholders informed and moving in the same direction.
- Lead day-to-day operations of the internal Sales AI lab, including coordination, prioritization, and delivery of active work streams
- Serve as the connective tissue across Global Technology, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain, Brand, Legal, AI Governance, Enterprise AI, and other partner teams
- Communicate daily with VP and executive-level stakeholders, translating technical AI work into business impact and business needs into program direction
- Drive adoption of AI tools across the sales organization by partnering directly with the people who will use them
- Read and react to the evolving relationship between AI capability and business strategy, adjusting program priorities accordingly
- Maintain momentum and continuity so the program does not lose ground during the coverage period
- 10+ years of program or project management experience, ideally including launching or operating a new program or internal capability
- Proven ability to communicate with and influence VP and executive-level stakeholders on a daily basis
- Working understanding of AI and its impact on business operations — enough fluency to engage credibly with technical teams and translate for business partners
- Comfort operating in ambiguity with no established playbook
- Experience driving cross-functional alignment across a large, matrixed organization
- Hands-on familiarity with AI tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Cowork
- Experience in a large global consumer, retail, or lifestyle brand environment
- Track record of driving AI or new-technology adoption across non-technical teams
A technical background is not required. The client is specifically looking for someone who is enthusiastic about AI tools and can operate them independently, not someone who builds them.
Who Succeeds Here- Team player. This role touches a lot of people across a lot of functions. Relationships are the job.
- High energy and genuinely passionate about AI. Enthusiasm for the space is visible and contagious.
- Self-starter who drives the agenda. There is no playbook. This person sets direction rather than waiting for a task list.
