SummaryThe Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to residents. Responsibilities include quality move‑in, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention to residents. The role responds to resident service requests and helps Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service.
Essential Duties- Prepare all market‑ready apartments, which may include painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to ensure a quality product for residents.
- Complete resident service requests in a timely manner.
- Possess knowledge of various maintenance functions, including plumbing, pool maintenance, air conditioning, heating, general carpentry, appliance maintenance, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety issues.
- Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks to keep them clean and free of trash, debris, and safety hazards.
- Perform on‑call emergency procedures as required.
- Report maintenance issues affecting the budget, such as life safety, vacant repairs, property damages, and common area needs, to the manager.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and record such activities.
- Be knowledgeable of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems regarding maintenance.
- Attend and participate in training programs as required by Cushman & Wakefield and local city and state jurisdictions.
- Provide superior customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.
- Work any shift Sunday through Saturday to support business needs.
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment used to perform job duties.
- Ability to perform basic calculations and interpret bar graphs.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Have a CPO if required by city or state.
- Hold EPA 608 certification – Minimum Type II.
- Follow all Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- EPA 608 – Minimum Type II, or CPO, or local city required certificate.
This job operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. It requires regular travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.
Physical DemandsEmployees must stand and walk for extended periods, ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools, and travel between buildings in varying weather. The job may require remaining stationary (sit or stand) for 85% of the time, operating office machinery, and traveling up to 10% of the time. Employees must be able to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, frequently, or continuously to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Compensation varies based on factors such as collective bargaining agreements, geographical area, market rates, and candidate experience.
The pay range for this position is $27.20 – $32.00 per hour. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
