Role Description

F45 Training West Beaverton is building a fitness experience unlike anything in the Portland Metro—rooted in Team Training. Life Changing. We’re a youthful, high-energy, employee- and member-first ownership team creating a studio where coaches have a voice, standards are high, and the community comes first.

Our facility will be state-of-the-art in a brand-new development next to a high-end grocer, banks, and destination restaurants. Inside, expect a futuristic layout with a premium Recovery Suite and body composition scanning built into the experience—simply the nicest training facility in the area.

As Head Coach at F45 West Beaverton
, you’re the leader of the training floor and the heartbeat of the community. You’ll coach at an elite level, set the standard for the entire coaching team, and help drive studio growth through world-class member experience, consistent follow-up, and community-building. This is a true player-coach role with real autonomy—if you’re the best in the area and want a platform to lead and grow, this is it.

Key

responsibilities
  • Lead the training floor: deliver high-energy, high-standard F45 sessions with strong coaching cues, movement quality, regressions/progressions, and member connection
  • Coach consistently: lead a minimum number of sessions weekly while maintaining the best-in-class class experience every time
  • Build community: plan and host events (member socials, challenges, theme workouts), create partnerships with local businesses, and make the studio the hub of the neighborhood
  • Own the trial experience: ensure every first-timer gets a premium welcome—studio tour, clear coaching, post-class connection, and a strong next-step plan
  • Drive conversions (service-first): help lead membership conversations in-studio by matching people to the right options based on goals
  • Manage leads + CRM follow-up: maintain clean notes, run follow-up rhythms, and personally connect with no-shows, cancellations, trialers, and at-risk/low-usage members
  • Deliver results through retention: build relationships, track progress, celebrate milestones, and keep members consistent
  • Utilize Recovery Suite + metrics: incorporate InBody scans and recovery offerings into the member journey to improve outcomes and loyalty
  • Develop coaches: recruit, onboard, mentor, and upskill the coaching team; run coach development and ensure consistent standards across every coach and every class
  • Operate like a leader: partner with studio leadership on KPIs, weekly priorities, and execution; handle subs, scheduling standards, facility walkthroughs, and quality control
  • Maintain compliance: keep CPR/AED and required certifications current for yourself and the coaching team; support incident reporting and documentation as needed
  • Represent the brand: bring positive, inclusive, high-accountability energy—members and coaches should feel your leadership daily
What success looks like
  • Members talk about the coaching, the culture, and the community as the reason they stay
  • Trials convert because the experience is premium and the follow-up is consistent
  • Coaches improve under your leadership and the studio runs with standards—even when you’re not in the room
  • The studio becomes the most talked-about training + recovery destination in the area
Qualifications Required
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Current NCCA-accredited primary fitness certification (ACE, AFAA, ISSA, ACSM, NASM, NCSF, NSCA, etc.)
  • Ability to coach a minimum of 12 sessions per week (Head Coach baseline expectation)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and member-service mindset (you set the standard on the floor and in the community)
  • Comfortable owning follow-up/retention responsibilities, including low-usage and at-risk member outreach
  • Willingness to maintain required records/documentation and keep certifications current in F45 systems (Academy/Playbook expectations)
  • Flexible schedule availability (early mornings/evenings and weekends as needed)
Strongly Preferred
  • 2+ years leadership/management experience (leading coaches, operations, and culture)
  • Experience driving membership growth and retention through an excellent trial process and confident in-studio membership conversations (service-first)
  • Experience planning/executing community events, partnerships, and local outreach
  • Comfort tracking and reviewing KPIs with leadership (leads, first visits, conversion, utilization, attrition/at-risk)
Nice-to-Have
  • Mindbody/CRM experience (client notes, reporting, follow-up systems)
  • Experience with InBody scans and goal-setting consults
  • Experience managing schedule standards, substitutions, and studio quality/standards walkthroughs
  • Recovery familiarity (sauna, compression recovery, etc.) and ability to integrate recovery into a results-focused member journey
