Operations and Safety Supervisor

• Monitors daily operations, ensures performance and safety on all routes.
• Reviews schedules and daily manifests for efficiency and operational performance.
• Lead the division in the area of safety organization regarding classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction.
• Ensures all safety manuals, programs, policies and practices are kept current and meet the operational needs.
• Oversees the proper use of software and in-vehicle technology.
• Counsel/coach drivers and dispatchers as required. Enforce the procedures and policies delineated in the Employee Handbook, CBA, and local division procedures.
• Respond to client requests.

• Must have at least three to five (3-5) years  experience in recent and relevant transit supervisory position.
• The ideal candidate would have experience in BTW training, scheduling, personnel management and operations.
• Experience in MS Office software is a must.
• The qualified candidate must be able to work independently and have strong written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of the contractual obligations is a must to perform this job correctly.
• Knowledge of company policy assures that the operation supervisor is using consistent measures to assess a Driver s activity.
