Your New Role

Combine your mission-oriented career search with your strategic management expertise in this Manager of Community Services role! As the Manager of Community Services, you’ll oversee and manage two to three department managers and approximately twenty-five field staff, with an anticipated growth of up to fifty staff members. A strict eye for detail is crucial in this role, as you’ll monitor departmental KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement, track departmental financials such as overtime and PTO usage, and oversee service hours to prevent budget overages.

You’ll report directly to the Executive Director and senior leadership partners while maintaining overall accountability for departmental performance through effective delegation and leadership.

The scope of this role includes managing the ADL and DSA departments with full responsibility for compliance, financial tracking, staff management, policy implementation, and revenue generation. You’ll oversee referral development and participant intake processes to ensure a steady flow of new business, facilitate new hire onboarding by introducing staff to participants, and collaborate closely with key stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills will help you thrive here, as you’ll work alongside department managers, field staff, case workers, participants, and Oregon state regulatory bodies.

The team is looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, strong emotional intelligence, and an ability to maintain a cool head in otherwise stressful scenarios. You’ll start this role on‑site.
