Overview
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Base Pay Rate Range of $32/hour - $36/hour (DOE). Signing Bonuses Starting at $1,500 (DOE).

- Support the execution of the technical vision and join a high performing team. Collaborate cross-functionally to build/fabricate a high mix of medium to complex tooling.
- Analyze specifications, set up and operate machine tools, and fabricate, maintain, repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures and gauges.
- Set up and operate both manual and CNC machine tools (lathe, milling machine, grinder) to design and build simple tooling.
- Work from blueprints, sketches, models and verbal descriptions to build, rebuild, modify, and repair tools, dies, gauges and necessary equipment.
- Compute dimensions, plan layouts, measure and mark metal stock for machining; verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.
- Design and build simple tools; assist tool engineers with design improvements.
- Plumb pneumatic components for fixturing; provide required work tools and measurement devices.
- Assist with managing projects and train new employees or apprentices.
- High school education or equivalent, two years of trade school training and a minimum of two years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Thorough working knowledge of Tool and Die Making practices, designs and construction, shop mathematics, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, and metal properties.
- Ability to operate standard shop machine tools to tolerances of .0002".
- Knowledge of layout, machining and tool assembly procedures.
- Previous CNC programming experience is required.
- Good interpersonal communication skills; computer knowledge and familiarity with applicable CAM software required.
Work takes place in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and chemicals. Ability to use PPE. Ability to stand or sit for long periods; good manual dexterity, fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to use full range of motion. Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crawl, or crouch. Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds with assistance. Capable of operating light tools and basic machinery.
