Pay: $22-$30+/hr DOE
Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Shifts
A local manufacturing company specializing in highly reliable and intuitive industrial automation control systems is looking to add an experienced Electrical Controls Panel Builder to their growing team! This company partners closely with customers from concept to completion, delivering custom-built automation solutions with exceptional quality and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:- Build and upgrade a wide variety of custom industrial automation control systems
- Perform industrial control wiring, panel fabrication, and full panel assembly
- Build UL508A and NFPA
79 compliant control panels from schematic drawings - Plan and execute efficient, organized, and standards-compliant panel layouts
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
- Perform wire prep, crimping, soldering, labeling, and red‑line documentation
- Understand and assemble industrial automation circuits and control systems
- Assist with onsite field service, installation, startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning of panels and automation systems
- Load parameters and programs into systems during startup and testing
- Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and fellow builders on custom projects
- Maintain a high level of craftsmanship, organization, and quality throughout production

79 standards - Ability to build directly from schematic drawings
- Experience planning efficient and standards‑compliant panel layouts
- Strong understanding of industrial automation circuits and control systems
- Mastery of wire prep, crimping, soldering, and red‑line documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and efficiency
- 5–7+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls wiring, or panel building
