Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble polymer membranes onto electronic probe components, including attachment, alignment, fixturing, UV curing, and managing cure cycles.
  • Perform mechanical assembly of small, mixed‑material parts using screw fasteners, adhesives, and precision tools.
  • Perform all technical tasks required of an Assembler II when needed.
  • Prioritize assembly workflows to maximize throughput based on build queues, cure times, and delivery deadlines.
  • Read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
  • Complete tolerance stack‑up evaluations using basic math calculations.
  • Assemble miniature parts under a microscope, using specialized jigs, fixtures, and hand tools.
  • Set up and execute tests to verify build specifications and product performance.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to support process improvements.
  • Set up and operate a variety of specialized equipment following documented SOPs.
  • Safely handle chemicals—including solvents and adhesives—while complying with all safety, PPE, and clean‑room protocols.
