Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Product Development Engineer 2 to support Jordan Brand's elite athlete footwear initiatives. This role will focus on the end-to-end development and execution of promotional footwear, athlete service products, and key Jordan Brand moments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. This individual will work closely with Design, Product Management, Sports Marketing, Development, and Manufacturing partners to ensure timely delivery of athlete-specific footwear solutions.
This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about sport, footwear product creation, and delivering premium athlete experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of promotional and athlete service footwear programs.
• Manage product creation timelines, milestones, and deliverables from concept through final product delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on development priorities and deadlines.
• Partner with Design, Product Management, Sports Marketing, and Development teams throughout the product creation process.
• Track project schedules, product details, and development milestones while ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners.
• Support athlete-specific footwear requests and brand moments while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
• Identify and resolve development issues while maintaining project timelines.
• Ensure adherence to product creation standards, quality requirements, and development processes.
• Maintain detailed documentation, product information, and development records.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2 4 years of experience in Product Development, Product Creation, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting athlete service programs or promotional product initiatives.
• Retail industry experience.
• Understanding of footwear construction, development, and product creation processes.
• Experience with PCX or similar product creation systems.
• Knowledge of footwear manufacturing and development workflows.
• Passion for sports, athlete performance, and Jordan Brand culture.

Team Environment

• Work directly with a Footwear Development team consisting of approximately 5 team members.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with 15+ partners across Design, Product Management, Sports Marketing, Manufacturing, and Development teams.
• Support high-profile Jordan Brand athlete service initiatives and promotional footwear programs.
• Fast-paced, collaborative, and highly visible environment requiring strong discretion and professionalism.
