Job Summary
We have a small metalworking/fabrication shop making steel plant supports. We are a MIG shop and also have a roller bender machine for fabricating rings from 1/4" and 3/8" round stock. A primary full‑time fabricator is already on staff, and we are looking for an additional weekend helper.
Responsibilities- Assist the full‑time fabricator with shop tasks.
- Perform MIG welding on steel components.
- Cut steel bar using a circular saw or handheld grinder.
- Operate grinding machines.
Weekends only:
Saturday or Sunday. Minimum of 8 hours, up to 12 hours per day.
- Experience with MIG welding.
- Basic knowledge of metal cutting and grinding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Paid payroll job, bi‑weekly. Starting pay $19 per hour with potential increases.
