Responsibilities
The Communications Coordinator will focus on running communications supporting the running business and brand. They will understand and convey company and product information to internal and external stakeholders through appropriate channels. They will work with the Communications manager/director to administer the allocated budget, including invoicing, producing reports, working with finance, and updating the team on a regular basis.
- Foster and cultivate relationships with key media and keep up to date on company happenings
- Follow up with employees and partners, answer questions and supply PR information
- Provide assistance to media on‑site at special events, photo shoots, interviews and press conferences
- Research, write and edit press releases, fact sheets, video packages and speaking points
- Create and write PR plans; work with PR agencies and freelancers
- Research media groups
- Bachelor's degree
- 2–4 years of directly relevant work experience
- Strong understanding of running and passion for running is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
