Job specification

• Lead and manage nursing staff in the Med/Surg/Tele unit, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance assessments.
• Oversee daily patient care activities, ensuring patient-centered, compassionate, and high-quality care is provided to all patients.
• Manage daily operations, including staffing, resource allocation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards within the Med/Surg/Tele specialty.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, optimize resources, and enhance the delivery of services across units.

Candidate requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting and prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Specialty certification in Med/Surg or Telemetry is preferred.
