Wound Care Nurse: Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to perform mobile wound care treatments under the plan of care established by a Nurse Practitioner. This specific position will be servicing the Northern Salt Lake City area. This role is perfect for a nurse looking for schedule flexibility and autonomy with opportunities for growth.

• Perform Ultra Mist wound care treatments according to the plan of care provided by the supervising Nurse Practitioner.
• Remove and reapply appropriate wound care dressings according to the plan of care.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and thoroughly.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising NP regarding patient progress and any concerns.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Utah.
• Must have Home Health experience or similar.
• Valid UT driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Experience with wound care and willingness to be trained in Ultra Mist technology.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient locations.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
