A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in an in-home care setting provides compassionate, hands‑on support to clients in their own residences. CNA assists with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
The role also includes monitoring vital signs, observing and reporting changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition, and ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment. CNAs may assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship to promote the client’s overall well‑being and independence.
Strong communication skills, reliability, and empathy are essential, as CNAs often build close relationships with clients and their families. This position requires adherence to care plans, infection control practices, and agency policies while maintaining client dignity and confidentiality at all times.
Desired Experience & QualificationsActive CNA certification in good standing
Minimum of 1–2 years of caregiving or in-home care experience preferred
Experience assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
CompensationHourly wage: $23–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
