Administer and document regularly prescribed medications per physician orders and the Medication Administration record;
Order meds from the pharmacy as prescribed to ensure availability;
Document medications given in the resident's medical record immediately after administration;
Observe and report reactions and side effects of medications to the licensed nurse;
Take and record vital signs prior to administration when required by physician orders
